The makers of Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film, Lenin shared the much-anticipated title glimpse on the actor’s 31st birthday.
Ace actor-turned-producer, Nagarjuna’s younger son, Akhil Akkineni is all set to break away from his lover-boy image in the upcoming movie. The actor, known for his sweet roles in movies like Akhil, Hello, Mr Majnu, Most Eligible Bachelor and Agent, will be seen in a rugged avatar in his next film. Additionally, it will mark Akhil’s comeback to the silver screen after a year-long hiatus, have left everyone excited. The makers have finally released the title glimpse of Akhil’s upcoming movie on the actor’s 31st birthday and left everyone amused.
On his X handle, Nagarjuna, who will also be co-producing Akhil Akkineni’s 6th film, unveiled Lenin’s title glimpse video. The gripping first glimpse was released on the actor’s birthday, 8 April, leaving his fans more excited. The one-minute glimpse featured a dramatic first look of the actor, much different from his usual romantic image. Sreeleela, will also seemingly be paired opposite Akhil, and has a brief presence in the tease. Alongside it, the doting father also penned a heartfelt note for the actor. “Happy birthday, dear Akhil… may the Universe bless you with all its power and glory." Indeed, what’s a better birthday present for the actor than this?

For those unaware, Lenin is directed by Kishore Abburu, known for the 2023-released action romance movie Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha. The film has been produced by Nagarjuna under the banner of Annapurna Studios alongside Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. Nagarjuna further, in his caption, added, “Very happy to collaborate with you @vamsi84. Thank you team Lenin for the superb glimpse!! Dear Akkineni fans, thank you for all the love."
Soon after the first title glimpse video of Lenin was posted on various social media platforms, Akhil’s fans have been constantly rooting for his stint in the upcoming movie. Expressing his gratitude in a post in X, the actor wrote, “All of it for you 🙂 #LENIN Thank you for the lovely wishes."

The teaser video also signalled that Akhil’s character has a beautiful connection to Lord Krishna, adding a mythological significance to his upcoming movie. The drastic transformation of the actor from his previous roles indeed proved his incredible acting skills. In the end, however, the film’s teaser video features a caption that reads, “No war is more violent than love," highlighting that Lenin will have a narrative based on romantic struggle.
